Applied Outdoor Media have been extremely helpful and generous in their time and attitude to the project. We successfully installed a Mary Quant design floor graphic on the main road outside the museum, colouring the road pink and orange for the summer months which proved incredibly popular to people passing by! Many people took photos of the artwork and shared it on their social media channels which created a further buzz around the installation online, and the visitor numbers to the exhibition no doubt partly as a result of this activation have exceeded forecast. Applied Outdoor Media helped us measure, install, maintain and remove the artwork. It wouldn’t have been possible without them. All in all, it has been a great pleasure working with such an efficient, friendly and high quality company. We hope to do more projects with Applied Outdoor Media in the future.

We commissioned Applied Media to produce a tailor made rainbow flag treatment, which was applied to the pedestrian crossing area of a signalised crossing. This work was carried out to increase awareness and coincided with L.G.B.T events taking place within the London Borough of Hackney.

The treatment was applied in a location, which is subject to very high volumes of overall vehicle traffic, which is made up of a high proportion of HGV’s and buses. The media was applied at the end of June and has been in place for four and a half months. Given the conditions, this product has been subject to, it has greatly exceeded our expectations in terms of durability and appearance.

Applied Media have provided a first class service, from our first call of enquiry, through to implementation and post implementation support. The team are very knowledgeable and a professional approach is exercised at every level.

We had no hesitation in adding Applied Media to our list of approved contractors, so we would definitely recommend them and look forward to working with them in the future.

I can highly recommend both the product and the quality of service provided by Applied Media.

I’m an artist and was looking to make 3D floor illusion for a shopping centre that would survive heavy footfall.

After researching the various options that currently exist it was clear that there was no other product that could even come close to competing to Applied Media.

It is the perfect combination of price, print quality, durability, safety and ease of installation and removal. I needed the product to perform in a number of indoor and outdoor locations on a number of substrates.

Every time I had a query over technical matter I received clear and thorough advice specific to my requirements from experienced staff – a level of service that is incredibly valuable and rare.

Applied Media “perfect combination of price, print quality, durability, safety”

We used the Applied Media product in a heavily trafficked outdoor environment, where other similar products had previously failed.

The Applied Media product has by comparison performed superbly. It has outlasted the term of the project and outperformed our expectations in all respects.

Simon and the team are knowledgeable, professional and provide a level of service to match the quality of the product; exceptionally high.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the product and the service.

Using pavement art has worked very well for us in Congleton.

In 2014 the pavement poppies looked fantastic by the cenotaph and lasted for more than three months.

When we wanted to draw attention to the Town Hall’s 150th anniversary celebrations we were limited on installing anything onto the building due to the listed building status.

Using the pavement was a really eye catching solution and because it’s slightly unusual there were lots of pictures of it on social media –which helped to promote the message further. All the staff that we have dealt with at Applied Outdoor Media have been really helpful and responsive.

The Community Management Team at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council has worked with Applied Media since 2015 and has successfully used their floor graphics to promote the ‘Newcastle in Bloom’ campaign in a number of locations, for example, within Queen’s Gardens in Newcastle town centre.

The Community Management Team has always found Applied Media floor graphics to be extremely safe, highly effective and durable. They have always found their staff members to be very helpful and reliable and would not hesitate in using them again on future ground artwork projects.

Applied Media produced a bespoke rainbow zebra crossing to TfL for both the 2014 and 2015 Pride in London celebrations.

The crossing was in response to a request by Mike Freer MP for London to mirror other cities that have introduced similar crossings as a symbol of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) awareness. The completion of this project took a few months but Applied Media were very patient as there was a politically sensitive thing to do.

Their response and professionalism was amazing, and their advice to complete this on time was perfect. The end result was a huge success and looked incredible on the day. It made a huge impact on Londoners and continues to draw people whenever we lay it out.
